West Side Storey

West Side Storey is a series of three handmade necklaces created from abandoned pieces of wood, bamboo poles and marble tiles. Designed for everyday wear, the collection was based on architectural motifs found in the town of Jurong where each necklace tells a story of certain peculiarities observed within the area.

Celebrating Found Objects: An upcycling project with local business Naiise featuring products that were designed to reflect selected housing estates around Singapore. West Side Storey was exhibited at Naiise’s brick-and-mortar store at The Cathay as well as National Design Centre, Singapore. The work was also one of the nominees at the 2017 Crowbar Awards.
